My recent official commission was the portrait of Hon. Dr John C. Crosbie. The portrait was commissioned by the Memorial University of Newfoundland and was unveiled on Oct. 8, 2008.

Fabulous portrait. The lighting is lovely. Were you able to set it up as you liked or were there specifications in place?

There were no specifications and the setup was completely up to me. It was implied of course that this is an official portrait, so the dressing should be formal. I usually use natural lighting. It was a nice overcast day and I placed the sitter near the large window.
